South France Accommodation 2 Bedroom Rental in La Batie Neuve, French Alps (PR-954)

This lovely wooden Chalet is located in a hamlet near the village of La Bātie Neuve, Hautes Alpes.

The layout is as follows :

You enter the chalet via a large entrance room. It is very convenient to store sports equipment (skis, climbing equipment...)
There is a washing machine.

From this room you have access to the living room and open kitchen.
The kitchen is fully equipped with 3 gas and 1 electric burner, a multi-function electric oven, a dishwasher and a refrigerator. All cooking utensils are available.
There is a dining table and a cupboard.
A French door gives access to the balcony were you will find garden furniture.

The first bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds that can be put together to get a queen-size bed. There is a window opening onto the garden.(north exposure).

The bathroom has a washbasin, a stall shower and a French bidet.

Toilet is separate.

Upper level :

Wooden stairs give access to the upper floor mezzanine space :

The open mezzanine sleeping space has a queen-size bed and a small window overlooking the garden.
Next is the lounge with a sofa, equipped with a TV and DVD player.

Outside :

From the living room you have a private access onto a large shaded balcony (ideal to have breakfast facing the garden, the countryside and the mountains).

The chalet stands on a nice south exposed 1600 sqm private garden planted with various trees.
The owners live in a another chalet nearby and will the available if needed to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. But you will have full privacy.

You will enjoy the summer kitchen with BBQ but also pizza-bread oven.
Some garden furniture is available.

Parking is available for various cars at the back of the property.

The chalet is a few minutes drive away from the village of La Bātie Neuve where you will find all commodities (bakery, pharmacy, bar, restaurant...). Larger shopping can be done in Gap - 11 km away.

This property in the middle of Southern French Alps is ideal for nature lovers who want to enjoy the incredible variety of activities offered by the Hautes Alpes Department : Skiing - Mountain Climbing - River and Lake Activities - Golf (Gap-Bayard) and even Air Activities in Tallard Airfield (about 15 minutes drive away).
In the summer the Serre Poncon Lake is just a few minutes drive away.
