This 1 bedroom apartment is located 5 kilometers east from the famous city of Aix en Provence, near the village of Le Tholonet.(1.5 km away). It can accommodate up to 4 people for short term rentals and 2 people for long term. The apartment is attached to a large villa but offers a lot of privacy. You enter the apartment through the living is furnished with a double convertible sofa-bed, 2 armchairs and a coffee table. There is a dining table and a TV. The open kitchen is equipped with 2 electric vitro-ceramic hotplates, a multifunction microwave-grill oven, a refrigerator and freezer, a dishwasher and an small clothes washer. It has most necessary cooking utensils. The bedroom is furnished with two single beds that can be put together to get a queensize bed. There is a large built-in closet and a desk. A window opens onto the garden. The bathroom has a washbasin, a stall shower and toilet. There is a Wifi Internet Access. Outside : You will enjoy a private garden/terrace area. For short term rentals you will have access to a swimming pool (shared). Very peaceful environment, lovely views onto the Mount Sainte Victoire. Neighborhood : ============= The property is located in the countryside, so you will definitely need a car. From the property, you have a wonderful view of the Sainte-Victoire Mountain (that drew famous painter Cézanne a century ago) which culminating at 1,011 meters. This eastern countryside of Aix en Provence is a very residential and well-preserved area that hosts many beautiful "bastides" (typical country houses dating from the 18th Century). Aix en Provence itself is only 5km waya and has a wealthy historical and artistic heritage. The historic center hosts many private mansions and monuments. Aix also has the most important courthouse in the region. The property is only 5-10 minutes drive from the main road connections such as A8 (Aix-Nice Highway). The Marseille-Provence International Airport and the TGV Mediterranean train station (Aix-Les-Miles station) are only 25-30 minutes drive away.
