If you are not planning on washing them, opt for disposable changing pads.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Portable high chair:<\/strong> Restaurants in Paris won\u2019t always have high chairs, or they might be too big for your baby to fit in. To avoid having to hold your baby on your lap while you eat, we suggest you bring a portable high chair that clamps to most tables.<\/li>\n<li>Wondering if you should bring enough <strong>diapers, baby wipes or baby food<\/strong> for the whole stay? The answer is no, as these items can be found at any local supermarket (such as Carrefour, Monoprix or Franprix). These stores offer a large variety of baby meals for children up to 24 months, baby snacks, fruit puree, cereals and yogurts. Several taxi companies in Paris will let you book an immediate taxi and request a baby seat. \u00a0<strong>Taxis G7<\/strong> for example will let you request a \u201cfamily cab\u201d equipped with boosters and baby seats.<\/p>\n<p>For the most convenient and stress free experience, <strong>Welcome<\/strong> is a baby-friendly\u00a0airport transfer service with a cost comparable to the cost of a regular taxi. Most stations aren\u2019t equipped with escalators or elevators. It is feasible to take the Paris Metro with your baby but keep in mind that you\u2019ll need to be able to carry what you bring with you up and down many stairs. As a plus, parents will get to enjoy the view of the city during the trip. In the heart of Paris distances are shorter that one might imagine. If the weather permits, try to get to your destination by foot at least once instead of taking public transportation. Discovering Paris this way makes you stop and take in those moments that you might have missed otherwise, and there will be plenty of things to capture your baby\u2019s attention along the way! If you choose to walk around Paris for a day, plan ahead and choose an area with easy walking routes. The area around the <strong>Champs \u00c9lys\u00e9es<\/strong> has wide footpaths making it easy to use the stroller. This is another situation where a lightweight stroller or baby carrier will come in handy!<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>WHERE TO STAY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Renting a vacation rental in Paris during your stay is an excellent option as apartments provide more space than in a hotel room and offer traditional amenities and comforts you would find in your own home.
