In a location famous for being the center of the gambling industry, the Belle \u00e9poque casino is a must whether or not you wish to tempt fate and mingle among the cr\u00e8me de la cr\u00e8me of the international jet-set. \u00a0If gambling is not your cup of tea, you can still explore the splendid gardens surrounding the magnificent building.<\/p>\n

Monaco has been ruled by the House of Grimaldi since 1297<\/strong>, which makes them the oldest ruling family in the world. To get a better grasp on that feat, do not forget to pay a visit to the Prince\u2019s Palace<\/strong>, which is just about as old as the monarchy. Flanked by centuries-old cannons, the original Genoese fortress is even more impressive inside than out.<\/p>\n

For the Formula One fans, watching the Monaco Grand Prix<\/strong>, one of most popular automobile races in the world, right there would no doubt be a dream come true. So keep in mind that it is not too late to make plans for this year as the annual event will take place May 26-29.<\/p>\n

The more culturally inclined will have several museums to choose from<\/strong>, not to mention Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo, l\u2019Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo and numerous prestigious artistic companies, such as the Ballets Russes, who never fail to stop in town when on tour.<\/p>\n
