This fully furnished one bedroom apartment is located in a West Village townhouse in New York. The apartment is on the fourth floor of a walk up building. Note that this is an old building and the appearance of the unit reflects this.
This furnished apartment features hardwood floors.
The living room with a southern exposure has a double sized sofa bed, and a coffee table. There is also a TV and a DVD player.
The bedroom is facing is facing north with a street view and has a queen sized bed, closet and window.
The open kitchen has refrigerator, microwave, regular oven, coffee maker and toaster. There are basic pots, pans, dishes and utensils. There is a bar area with barstools for seating for two at the counter.
The bathroom has a tub/shower, w/c and sink.
The furnished apartment is well located in the West Village of Manhattan. There are many restaurants and shops within walking distance. Washington Square Park is a few blocks east from this apartment.
Going north on 11th Ave, you will find Chelsea Piers, one of the biggest New York's sports and entertainment center. The closest subway is the 1,2,3 trains at Christopher Street / 7 Avenue South.
Please note that the heating system is radiator steam which can cause loud clanging when in use during the cold season.

I had to clean the whole apartment, it was dirty and unfortunately there were cockroaches. Once it was clean it was o.k. I have not had personel contact to the owner, only via e-mail. The TV just worked sometimes and only 10 programms. The toilet seat was broken, the bathtub was moldy, the fume hood in the kitchen was disgusting. The surrounding area (Greenwich Village) was fantastic, 2 supermarkets around and a walking distance away from Chelsea Market. Lots of good shoping around. |

The owner is aware of the cleanliness expectations of New York Habitat and will work hard to meet this standard. The owners have the building exterminated once a month for roaches and vermin. The owner will also replace the broken toilet seat. This rental is no longer offered with cable included and New York Habitat has now removed cable from the listing. |

Apt in Perry Street was even better located than we'd thought and very well furbished. It would be an ideal place to stay for 1-2 weeks but it was too small to stay in for 4 weeks. |
