Apartment: My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this apartment. Spacious for NY and a balcony overlooking a green roof! Unheard of in NY. The location was amazing for a young couple like us - bars, pubs, movie theatres, parks, cafes, restaurants, shopping, botiques, specialty stores and of course the metro all within walking.

We often walked to the lower eastside along Ave A, SoHo, NoHO, little Italy, all walkable from this apartment.

The apartment is renovated, so cleanliness is not an issue whatsoever. All the utensils you need in the kitchen, cutlery and plates etc all there. Kettle, gas stove and small electric oven are also included. There is HEAPS of room for storage which is great. Internet is super fast.

The area is really safe and super trendy.

The host, Anna is just delightful. She will make you feel like you are at your own home and is extremely accommodating. She always ensured we were comfortable in our apartment and was very attentive to any request. You will not find a better host than Anna.

This room is an absolute bargain for the size of the apartment, the area its in and the condition of the apartment. Enjoy NYC!

Sunny and Loraine, a newly married couple from Australia, spent their honeymoon at the apartment and, of course, New York City.

It was wonderful to see a happily married couple around.
I very much enjoyed their presence and miss them.

I spent 3 months in this fantastic apartment. The apartment is really close to the subway, in a nice and lively neighborhood where you can find all kinds of bars and restaurants. The balcony is perfect to enjoy a drink when the weather's fine and the apartment is very comfortable. Anna, the owner, was a great help to find top spots and was always available.

Anne came to learn English and she did. It was wonderful having her as a guest and that New York and the apartment were such a positive experience for her.

I would stay here again and again. So would my husband and daughter. This apartment seems more spacious in real life, than pictures tell you. It is bright, uncluttered and airy with windows on each end. The balcony overlooking the newly and now beautifully planted green roof is a sanctuary for a quiet thought. There is also a beautifully planted backyard view to the left.

The owner, is a wonderfully warm and kind lady, who lives upstairs and is eager to help you with any advice you may need, yet very respectful of your privacy. She is especially well informed in the art-world of the city. The apartment is well equipped, immaculately clean and easy to keep that way. Good beds and quiet sleep (for a big city).

The neighborhood is just great. Abundance of inexpensive to more exclusive cafés and restaurants where newyorkers from all over Manhattan comes to eat. And anything else you may need is also around the corner. Always people walking in the streets...which, in NY, means safe!
