Located on 82nd Street and 3rd Avenue, this apartment is on the 1st floor (considered as the ground floor in Europe) of a seven-story building with an elevator. For added convenience, there is a buzzer/intercom system and a shared laundry room is available on the premises.

• Museum Mile: This strip of famous museums sits on Fifth Avenue and runs from 82nd to 105th streets. Museums here include The Jewish Museum, Guggenheim Museum, and Metropolitan Museum of Art. The street begins about 4 blocks west of the apartment (approx. 750 meters).
• Madison Avenue: While Fifth Avenue grabs the attention of most tourists, you’ll have time to leisurely walk around some of the fanciest stores in the area on Madison Avenue. Some shops here include Christian Louboutin, Barneys New York, and Davidoff of Geneva. Found 3 streets to the west.
• Central Park: This huge park offers something new to discover every day. In the summer, join the locals sunbathing and picnicking here. Joggers also love to make their routes here! Located about 1/2 a mile (approx 800m) from the apartment.

For public transportation around Manhattan and into other New York City boroughs, take the 4, 5, or 6 trains at 86th Street and Lexington Avenue (0.4mi/600m), which runs up and down the Upper West Side. This station is particularly convenient as it is a stop for both local and express trains, so you will not need to transfer!
