I stayed in this apartment for 3 months in the summer. I am extremely satisfied with my stay and also with my roommate, who in turn has become a great friend.

The room was okay and the apartment was clean, but I do not recommend because of these problems, among others:
1. Roommate repeatedly demanded payment for utilities that were supposed to be included according to the contract, even after shown the contract.
2. Encountered large (3+ in.) roaches in the bedroom throughout stay, also some in the bathtub.
3. No privacy. Things would be unexpectedly moved around or changed in the room.
4. Very dim lighting in the room--just two dim lamps for the whole room.
5. In warm weather, the room gets extremely hot, and the A/C is right by the bed and blows directly on you, which is uncomfortable for sleeping.

I did not have any problems with the wifi or cable TV, which worked well.

I have been renting my apartment for 5 years and unfortunately, did not have the best guest experience during this rental. I get very upset when a guest is not considerate. Cleanliness is important to me and so I always prefer that dishes are washed right after cooking and that clothes and personal items are not left lying around in the common areas.

I am also upset about the damage caused to an antique chair and my floor. Lastly, I would want that
part of the contract prohibiting overnight guests to be completely obeyed because to me, safety is important.

Thanks for your comments Lydia. The owner further said that the AC and the lighting in the apartment are fine and that she would ensure that the $50 charge for the AC would be included in her lease contract.
