The apartment is very well located and has all the amenities one needs. However, I did not feel comfortable living there as I felt like a guest that was just paying for a room in someone else's house instead of being a roommate that shares the apartment. The room was also not entirely mine since most of the owner's everyday things are still in the room and she needs access to them, which made me think the room was not worth what I was paying. Lastly, I had never lived with a smoker before so I thought I would be able to live with it but it ended up giving me headaches and I would have to stay in my room as much as possible whenever I was in the apartment to avoid the smell. |

Thank you for your feedback, Camilia. I am sorry that you felt the bedroom was not entirely yours. I told you before you decided to move in, that the apartment was a one bedroom and, even though I would be sleeping in the living room, I would need to access to my things in the bedroom. I had five roommates through New York habitat thus far, and I have not had a problem with this matter. Regarding me smoking in the apartment, it is clearly stated on the apartment description that I smoke. I am sorry if you did not feel comfortable in the apartment, I am always trying to build wonderful, close relationships with my roommates and I am still friends with three of my previous roommates. Best, Eileen. |
