Welcome to the quaint Brooklyn oasis of Park Slope from this private room for rent in a shared house. Located on 12th Street & 5th Avenue this room is situated in a five-bedroom townhouse with a stunning gardened terrace and in-home laundry. 

Please note that this is a private room in a shared house. Based on owner’s needs, guest’s private room will be either Bedroom 1 or Bedroom 2 on the top floor.​ The 2 top floor guest rooms share Bathroom 1, which has lovely decorative tiles, a shower, bath tub, WC, towels, hairdryer and soaps.

Guests and family share the living room and can help themselves to breakfast foods in the kitchen.

Bedroom 1 OR Bedroom 2 will be your private room. The rooms are fully furnished with a Queen bed or a King bed. 2 twin beds are available upon request. Both rooms feature hardwood floors, a decorative fireplace and a window with a view and both are perfect for 2 people. 

Living Room 1 is the shared common area, available to guests only until the early evening. With high ceilings, large windows, and beautiful hardwood floors, the room is illuminated with natural light and features a classic modern interior décor. The walls are lined with bookshelves that are at your disposal. The main floor also serves as the owners’ work area and office. The shared kitchen is equipped with a fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffeemaker, and a separate island area with seating. Guests may help themselves to ample breakfast foods, delicious juice and coffee, and more supplied by the owner. Evening cooking can be arranged.

The home owner will provide an outstanding  booklet for travel and home tips, neighborhood restaurants, and suggestions for cultural and tourist activities.

Park Slope is a gorgeous and quaint Brooklyn neighborhood, known for its immaculately maintained brownstones and neighborly sensibility. The neighborhood is teeming with a plethora of cultural activities, playgrounds, shopping, restaurants, bars, and other residential amenities. There are dozens of excellent restaurants, bakeries, and bars close by, as well as sports facilities like the YMCA, NY Sports Club, a movie theater, vintage and discount shopping and supermarkets. Check out Prospect Park (0.8 mi/1.3 km), with free music concerts every weekend. The park is home to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, the world renowned Brooklyn Museum of Art, and activities like ice skating.  Commonwealth (253 ft/77 m) is located just across the street. It is an a local neighborhood bar with indie-rock jukebox, pinwheel machine, & patio when it’s warm. Indulge in some reading just down the road at the Park Slope Library (0.4 mi/600 m).

The subway at 4 Avenue/9 Street (0.2 mi/350 m) locted only 3 minutes/3 blocks away connects you to the R, G, and F lines. These can also connect you quickly to every subway in NYC. The F line also stops nearby at 7th Ave.
