This fully furnished one bedroom apartment is located in a West Village townhouse in New York. The apartment is on the fourth floor of a walk up building. Note that this is an old building and the appearance of the unit reflects this.
This furnished apartment features hardwood floors.
The living room with a southern exposure has a double sized sofa bed, and a coffee table. There is also a TV and a DVD player.
The bedroom is facing is facing north with a street view and has a queen sized bed, closet and window.
The open kitchen has refrigerator, microwave, regular oven, coffee maker and toaster. There are basic pots, pans, dishes and utensils. There is a bar area with barstools for seating for two at the counter.
The bathroom has a tub/shower, w/c and sink.
The furnished apartment is well located in the West Village of Manhattan. There are many restaurants and shops within walking distance. Washington Square Park is a few blocks east from this apartment.
Going north on 11th Ave, you will find Chelsea Piers, one of the biggest New York's sports and entertainment center. The closest subway is the 1,2,3 trains at Christopher Street / 7 Avenue South.
Please note that the heating system is radiator steam which can cause loud clanging when in use during the cold season.

We stayed the third time in an apartment rented through New York Habitat - and again it was perfect. Only one thing to say. This time it was not a private apartment, it was an apartment of a company. It was really ok, but they have their own rules - like for example: You have to leave the apartment till 11 am. For a later check out, you have to pay 50 $. It's like in a hotel. Difficult for us, because our flight was at 9 pm. But we could stay till 3 pm in the apartment, so it was ok. |

The apartment suited our needs perfectly.The owners were very helpful and acted immediately with any requests to make our stay comfortable. The West Village was a great area to stay, central to restaurants, bars,shops and subway. On our first visit to NY, it was magic. I envy living in such an vibrant city. |
