This 50m² (about 550 ft²) two-bedroom apartment in the 14th arrondisement south of Paris nearby the Cité Universitaire (internatonal student village) and the beautiful Parc de Montsouris (built by Napoleon III), on the Avenue Reille between Avenue René Coty and Rue de la Tombe Issoire. The immediate area is very peaceful and calm, as the Vanne Reservoir takes up a large block right across from the building.

Not far is Montparnasse, a renowned district for its mix of art and high living and home of France's largest building, the Tour Montparnasse. This entire portion of Paris (the 13th, 14th and 15th arrondissements) are built on a network of quarries dug out from the middle ages until the 19th century known as the Catacombs. They are one of the most unique attractions in Paris and can be accessed at the Place Denfert-Rochereau, a busy intersection near the Montparnasse area. The Left Bank of the Seine, as this half of the city is known, is famous for its more bohemian past and still has a reputation as more quirky and exciting. In this bustling area, you'll have no trouble finding whatever you need.
The closest metro stations are Porte d’Orléans (line 4), Cite Universitaire (RER line B) and Alésia (line 4). Both these lines go directly to th heart of Paris in less than 15 minutes. The apartment is also very close to the tram system, which goes around the periphery of Paris. The nearest stop is 550 m (.3mi) away on the Boulevard Jourdain. This T3a line connects to most metro lines, providing a transit alternative to Parisians living near the rind road (Périphérique).
