This furnished studio apartment is located in the Clichy neighborhood in the 17th district of Paris. It is located on the fifth and top floor of a building from the 20th century. The building is secured by a coded system.

This furnished rental has parquet floor, wooden beams, a marble decorative fireplace and double glazed windows. There are two closets for your convenience and a double mattress is installed on the mezzanine in the hallway upon request. It is important to note that this mezzanine is accessible via a folding/telescopic ladder. Amenities of the separate kitchen include among others four gas plates with an exhaust fan, an oven and a microwave. The bathroom has a washer. Wireless Internet and a international cable TV are available.

The apartment has a double exposure. It is exposed south and west and overlooks the street.

This furnished apartment is located on rue Dautancourt in the Clichy neighborhood just at the corner of Boulevard de Clichy in the 17th disctrict of Paris. Clichy is a culturally diverse and lively district with lots of stores, supermarkets, fashion boutiques and movie theaters. There are many bars and restaurants throughout the neighborhood, such as “ Le Charlot” or “ Le Wépler” located on Place de Clichy. Just a few blocks away from the apartment is the Montmartre area. Take the funiculaire all the way up to the Butte Montmartre and its Sacred Heart Basilica and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic view of Paris.

The apartment was all that I wanted and more. It was more than big enough for me, and was nicely furnished. The kitchen was fully stocked. It had nice views through its windows and lots of natural light. I couldn't be more happy with my experience here. The apartment owner is extremely helpful. She provided me with lightbulbs, and extra comforter, and an extra key when I needed it. I very much recommend this apartment.

I have been staying in for 3 months.
When I arrived first time It was perfectly clean and tidy.
the apartment is perfectly suited for short-middle time stay of 2-3 persons (if two of them are couple :);
Big wardrobe (really big) and two built-in closets: one is living room and one is in kitchen good to place all the things out of the open space.
There is all necessary things for convenient stay: enough of linen (even more than enough: for bad, towels). Washing machine; without drying but there is public laundry in 50 m of the home entrance where you can dry the things for 1 Euro in 15 minutes.
The kitchen is in gas, enough of dishes, casseroles, pans etc...
Located in 15 mins of pleasant walk to Monmarts, in 3 (three) minutes from subway station.
Dozens of cafes and shops are around.

The landlady is very nice and friendly but it is better if you know some French, though you can probably manage in English. The area is lively, easy to shop for everyday needs. The sofabed could be exchanged in the near future. Internet access worked fine, TV only in French.

The apartment is very good situated, you can find lots of shops, restaurants, bars, etc. nearby, as well as a few metro stations. It's not full of tourists, which is also an advantage. The apartment is on the 5th floor (there is an elevator!), so you have a beautiful view as well. For me, the apartment had definitely enough room, it contained everything you need, the furnishing is comfortable, so I felt very well from the beginning on. The owner is a very nice woman, always obliging and reliable. In general, I had a really good time and enjoyed staying

Overall, our experience as a couple in that apartment was average to good, depending on what aspect.

The apartment is situated in a busy/popular area. You have good connections to the city center by bus and metro, and are for example in 20mins by foot at Opera. The cute area of Batignolles is a street away with many nice restaurants. There is a choice of 4 supermarkets and a market within 10mins walk. The downside of a popular quartier is that at night it can be rather loud.

The living room, which is also the bedroom if you don't want to sleep in the mezzanine, is bright with a nice view. The mezzanine is probably only suitable for one person, not a couple. You need to be fit to get up the ladder.

The provided linen is nothing special but clean, and the overall amenities are not bad. There is a lot of storage space, which is good, but there is for example no full size table to sit at, only a bar in the kitchen.

The apartment is more or less clean (though no Hoover is provided), but the appliances such as the oven, washing machine and shower would need a good scrub/maintenance. Overall, the apartment is not the newest.

The building is ok, but unfortunately they were supposed to change out the gas pipes: the pipes were in the entrance on the floor for the whole 4 month we were there. The apartment itself is on the top floor and can be reached with an elevator, which is rare in Paris.

The biggest plus of the apartment is its lovely owner. She was very friendly and helpful at all times, and very reactive to the few issues we had. We much appreciated her help.

Thank you for taking the time to share your opinion on the quality welcome, thanks for the positive aspects and the nice memory you keep of me, which I keep of you on my side as well.

Regarding noise, all the windows in the apartment have double glazing which soundproofs the apartment from the outside noise you sometimes get in the evening in this lively/popular neighborhood.

The mezzanine accommodates a double mattress so a couple can sleep there and the access via the folding/telescopic ladder, unlike a fixed ladder, helps keep all the floor space; and most of all, this mezzanine below the attic helps keep all the space in the very light main room which can also be used as a sleeping area thanks to the sofa bed.

The sitting room (main room) is equipped with a wooden coffee table where 4 people can have their meal. People like the kitchen very much, especially ladies who are surprised not to find a kitchen corner but a space that allows to make real meals; there is a worktop and a corner for a quick snack. As the apartment is 30m2, it was fitted out at best but we didn't favor the choice of a dining table to save space.

The household linen is always delivered clean and ironed.

The appliances being a few years old need to be maintained by their users, which is out of my control; for instance, the pyrolytic oven allows for a deep cleaning but this feature is never used yet it works perfectly well. Same for the shower. I'd like people to remember to use products such as anti-limescale for a thorough maintenance of the premises.

The apartment is always clean upon new renters' arrival, it is just a question of being able within the time given to recondition home fittings that are pretty ok.

All the paintwork in the apartment was redone 2 years ago, the apartment has cachet with its exposed beams and wall tiling, it is harmonious and despite the years, it continues to get many compliments as it used to at the beginning; many find it beautiful.

After carrying out some road works, the French gas company (GDF) ordered to change the gas pipes on each floor of the building. This can only be done by them and unfortunately, if the property management company could have taken their place, it would have been over and done with for a long time, but here we are dealing with a state organization and I must say leaving the pipes in the entrance hall for 4 months is a nuisance, but it is a safety measure to be done every 10 years. GDF assured me that the problem will be settled very soon.
