Live like a local in this classic studio apartment in the Montorgueil neighborhood of Paris! Located in the 2nd arrondissement, the home is ideally set on a pedestrian street near a hub of the city’s most world-famous attractions.
The studio apartment sits on Rue Tiquetonne and Rue Dussoubs. It is on the 3rd French floor of a 5-story 17th century walk-up building. The building is protected by an intercom security system.
Spanning a total of 25sqm (269sqft), the romantic studio features tiled floors, exposed wood beam ceilings and French windows that look toward the street (north and east). Though quaint, it provides tenants with everything they’ll need for a comfortable stay. This includes a double bed, sofa bed (double), and a large flat-screen television with cable and a DVD player for relaxing days inside. A kitchenette in one corner incorporates the essential cooking appliances, including a fridge, freezer, microwave, coffee maker and toaster. A small dining table accommodates meals for two.
Placed in the lively Montorgueil neighborhood of the 2nd arrondissement of Paris, the studio neighbors the Bourse (800m/0.5mi) and Sentier (500m/0.3mi) communities. Tenants will feel like a local as they walk down the beloved open-air market on Rue Montorgueil (120m/387ft), which is filled with Parisians round-the-clock sitting at cafes or looking through the great selection of wine, cheese, bakery items, and much more. Also within walking distance are world-famous points of interest Centre Pompidou (700m/0.4mi) featuring the Paris Museum of Modern Art, the Seine River (1km/0.6mi) and its islands Ile de la Cite (1.4km/0.9mi) and Ile Saint Louis (2.1km/1.3mi), the Louvre (1.3km/0.8mi) and City Hall (1.1km/0.7mi).
Public transportation is easy from this central location. Consider taking the 4 train at Étienne Marcel (210m/0.1mi) or the 1, 4, 11, 14, A, B or D trains at Châtelet-Les Halles (450m/0.3mi).

Great apartment in an excellent location. Check in and check out was efficient and presented no problems. The building has an old world charm. Only negative is that the bar opposite can be noisy on Friday and Saturday nights. |

Hi Brian. Thank you for your review and your positive comments, I am glad to hear you had a good time in my studio apartment. It is true it is situated in a great neighborhood and in a very trendy street, rue Tiquetonne. It is a very busy street, which means the neighborhood is safe and lively. |

I gave the apartment above average rating, since it is very well situated and very good value for the money. The only drawbacks are the lack of cleanliness of the bathroom (there seems to be a mold problem) and the fact that it can be noisy, since it's near a school and playground. |

Adelina, thanks for your rating and I am glad you had a nice stay in my studio. I'm finding out about the mold problem thanks to you so I'll quickly take measures to solve this problem which must be coming from a leak since the studio is always perfectly cleaned. |

A nice studio just off of rue Montorgueil. A small desk at the window looks out on rue Tiquetonne, a small but animated street. But the apartment was quiet enough at night. |
