In the city of Avignon, in the Provence region of the South of France, there is an Avenue named Montclar. A kilometer (around 0.6 miles) from the Rhône River, this sunny route crosses Champfleury, forming the block on which a 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom furnished apartment sits. The apartment has a washing machine, a decorative fireplace, a terrace, a private garden, and first floor (equivalent to the second floor in the USA) views of terracotta-style-tiled roofs and trees. The 2-story building has a security system.
In this furnished rental, two of the three bedrooms have large windows that open to let in fresh air. These two bedrooms have beadboard on the ceiling. All three bedrooms have double beds. In the living room, you can exchange the beadboard for exposed wood beams and hardwood flooring, as well as a sofa and a dining table. There is a wood stove here, but the cooking happens in the open kitchen. There you will find an oven, a microwave, a fridge, and a freezer. You will find a toaster and a coffeemaker, too. The washing machine is here as well. One of the bathrooms has a shower and a tub and large window with curtains. There are two separate toilets. Outside, foliage surrounds the terrace. Enjoy yourself in the 250 square meter (almost 2,700 square feet) garden.
Avignon retains much of its medieval heritage. Just 400 meters (around a quarter of a mile) from the apartment, you can see the Remparts d’Avignon, which still circle the center of the city. A 1.5 kilometer (around 0.9 mile) walk into the city will bring you past le Musée Angladon, la Chapelle des Pénitents Blancs, la Basilique Saint-Pierre, and take you to the stunning Palais des Papes. If you like artistic performance, you will find many places to enjoy a good show in Avignon. Théâtre L’Entrepôt is on the same block as this apartment rental, and it is only one of many venues in the city. Walking 2 kilometers (around a mile and a quarter) you can get to Avignon Université—Campus Hannah Arendt.
A 400-meter (around 0.25 mile) walk will take you to la Gare d’Avignon Centre. Here you can climb aboard the CAR021, TER, and TGV trains. You can take a few routes to get to l’Aéroport Avignon Provence. Each is around 10 kilometers away (around 6.2 miles).
