Peter, the owner, welcomed us warmly and was always available - there is nothing to say about that on the whole.

Everything was fine: this is a quiet place (which was awesome after spending the day visiting the city) and a typical New Yorker apartment, perfect for a change of scene. The only thing I would suggest is to add a microwave, other than that, I would definitely recommend this vacation rental.

Thank you Nadine.
We are proud to feature our apartment which is quite spacious by New York standards two very large rooms and an addition sitting area outside on the patio. Also the full sized refrigerator is always in active use by our guests so I'm glad you enjoyed it. It is always empty for our guests except for a few condiments for your convenience.

Very happy with this vacation rental, although the neighborhood is a bit far from the heart of Manhattan, the two subway stations nearby are very convenient. Both the apartment and the owner are charming, the neighborhood is nice and there are several shops close by.

I was especially glad you were able to enjoy having breakfast at the big table outside on the patio every day of your stay. That kind of space for 4 people to really spread out is rare in NYC!
I'm glad you found the subways conveniently located, and that it only takes about 20 minutes to get to the "heart." Come again!

Very pleasant apartment, very classy, well equipped and on the whole well suited to a family with three children (however the dining area is a bit tight for five and some extra placemats would have been welcome!).
Owner is flexible and understanding, especially with regard to arrival and departure times.

Pleasant stay. Communicative owners. Well equipped kitchen, tastefully furnsihed. It could be good to add space for storing clothes. For more than two guests an extra wardrobe mighr be useful.

Hello and thank to the guests for their comments.

Right now there's the closet in the bedroom with 2 racks for clothes and hangers and 2 shelves (I will store the extra linens further back in the closet since it is very large), a coat rack at the door with 5 hooks and more shelves for outerwear, and a cabinet in the bedroom with 3 drawers and 3 shelves for clothes.
We can add another dresser so our guests have some more drawers for clothes!

The accommodation was perfect for my family, we were 5. The landlady was very kind, she gave us very useful information to get about in the neighborhood. What we liked most was the neighborhood Harlem!! I highly recommend it!! It took us 15 min to be in the city center with the subway express train.

the only drawback with this vacation rental is its location away from the sites that are interesting for tourists: museums, shopping, walking through the neighborhoods...etc and this means it's not easy to go back to the apartment between two visits.

The accommodation is in good condition, well equipped (maybe it lacks a microwave oven and a few dishes...) the owners are nice and the apartment is quite well located, 5 min away from the subway.

The vacation rental was ok and clean, with very kind owners. Just lacking of curtains on the windows to sleep well in the morning and a microwave.

Thank you Chantal for your comments and useful suggestion. Curtains and shades have now been added so my guests can have a nice, late sleep in the mornings without being disturbed by daylight.
