Please note that the bedroom is separated from the living room by a curtain, not a door. The same is true for the partition between the bathroom and bedroom.
The kitchen is separate and comes with all appliances provided, including:
The bathroom is white tiled, with a combination bathtub-shower, a washbasin and a mirror. Please note that while there is no door separating the bedroom and bathroom, the toilet is in a separate room with a door for your privacy.
This vacation rental is located in a calm area close to a major commercial street, the Rue de Rennes. Less than a 5-minute walk away is the Montparnasse Tower, the tallest building in France and the Montparnasse station, one of the busiest in the city, with connections to regional and long-distance trains. This area has all sorts of bars, shops, restaurants and cinemas. Very close by is the world's oldest department store, 'Le Bon Marché', long synonymous with Parisian class and style.
Many of the most famous sites in Paris are within walking distance. Originally the royal gardens of Marie de Médicis, queen regent of France, the Jardin de Luxembourg is the perfect place for an afternoon stroll. Right across the river is the Musée du Louvre, the world's most famous art museum. There is also the Notre Dame Cathedral, which was started in 1163 by Louis IX, widely recognized as one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture. This area of the Left Bank is known as the Latin Quarter, Paris's student district and also the oldest part of the city.
The apartment is very close to several different metro lines. The closest metro stations are Rennes (line 12), Saint-Placide (line 4), and Sèvres-Babylone (line 10, line 12) Also within walking distance is the Montparnasse Station, where four metro lines (the 4, 6, 12 and 13) converge, as well as commuter trains (the RER), and regional and long distance trains.
