This two bedroom vacation rental is located in the 4th arrondissement on Rue Saint Louis en l'Isle, between Quai de Bourbon and Bd Henri IV. This is a very centric area of Paris, on Ile Saint-Louis, one of the two main islands on the Seine River. This fully furnished apartment is on the 3rd French floor (considered 4th by Americans) of a 17th century walk-up building that features a digicode security system. Although it maintains classic fixtures, reminiscent of its historic past, the apartment is well kept and features modern and convenient features. It has floor-to-ceiling windows with both northern and southern exposures that offer views of the street and courtyard, and allow the natural light to shine through.
This accommodation features high ceilings, exposed beams, and both hardwood and tiled flooring. There are lovely accents like antique wooden furniture pieces, a decorative fireplace and stained glass doors! The recently renovated unit is tastefully and harmoniously decorated with an eclectic mix of modern and vintage pieces, giving the place a classy feel. The living room has a sofa and dining table for four and opens into the modern, fully equipped kitchen, which has ample cabinet space! One bedroom has a double bed while the other one has two single matching beds. Both bedrooms share a bathroom, which has unique tiles from floor to ceiling!
*Please note that stairs to apartment are long and narrow.*
Right in the heart of historic Paris, Ile Saint-Louis has a unique charm. Snuggled in between the left and right banks, the area is packed with quaint little houses, cafes and shops. You will enjoy taking a stroll and having a picnic in the peaceful quay, where you can take in the view of the Hôtel De Ville, the Latin Quarter, the Pantheon, the Ile de la Cité and the Notre Dame Cathedral. Along the island’s main street, Rue Saint-Louis-en-l'Isle, and Rue des Deux Ponts, you’ll find numerous boutiques, cozy crêperies and restaurants, which are often in vaulted cellars—an attractive setting for elegant dining! You can cross the Pont Marie and visit Le Marais district, which has a rich history and is home to several interesting museums. The closest subway stations, Sully-Morland and Pont Marie, are within 600 feet (182 meters) of your two bedroom apartment. They run on the 7 line, which stops at the Louvre and Jardin des Tuileries, two major attractions in the City of Lights!
Please note that the owners of this property also have a 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment available on the same floor (PA-561).
