My daughter and I stayed in the apartment for the whole month of July. It was perfect for us! The apartment was in excellent condition. It was clean and well equipped. It had all the appliances, dishes, pots, linen etc. needed, in addition to an iron, blow dryer, vacuum, and a fan.
The only thing we found uncomfortable was the bed upstairs. It was hard and flat, even when folded in half! We ended up sleeping on the Ikea fold down sofabed, which was good enough. I think the owner would have brought over an extra foam if we had said something though, he did express concern when we told him at the end of our stay.

The owner was helpful, and asked several times during our visit if we needed anything, if everything was OK. He was accommodating in meeting us at the apartment at the time we arrived and at the time when we had to leave.

The apartment is in an excellent location, couldn't be better! We were only two doors over from a small grocery store, Fanprix. We were only a short walk to the Metro as well as walking distance to the river, Notre Dame, countless small shops, museums, parks etc. The Louvre was only a couple of stops on the Metro taking line 1. Paris wakes up in the evening, so that's when the most people are out and around in restaurants and bars.
Considering it's in the middle of Paris' center, the apartment is actually on a very quiet street. There are a couple of restaurants on the street, a tea house and one bar. The bar is open till two I think so there is some noise if you have your windows open (which we did in July) but it isn't bad! Being a narrow street it mainly echoes a bit when people spill out sometimes.... It really didn't bother us much. After the bar closes you could hear a pin drop! It was very quiet all night until 7 or 8 a.m. or so when the street cleaners, garbage truck and grocery store truck come by.... But I would just close the window and voilá... Quiet again!!

We had a wonderful stay and I would recomend this apartment to everyone. We would definitely try to get this apartment again if we were ever back in Paris for a long stay!

Cindy, thanks to you and your daughter. I hope you had a safe flight back. I am very pleased to read your message and very glad to hear you had a good time in this apartment and in Paris. Regarding the bed, I'll have a tatami installed under the futon, it will be more comfortable.
As regards the noise, as you said Cindy, it is a small narrow street but with very little traffic; once the window is closed, you no longer hear anything.

See you soon,

The apartment was a perfect studio to fully access and enjoy Paris. Located in the absolute heart of the city, the neighborhood offered everything one could want. On top of that, the apartment was clean, functional, and had nearly every amenity you could want. While small, I never felt too confined in the space. As with any Parisian apartment, there are certain eccentricities that are different from American spaces, but with these aside this is a perfect apartment.

I had a wonderful stay in Paris. This apartment I booked through your
company, NY Habitat, was exactly as advertised.

The owner of the apartment was an absolute delight. He was friendly, helpful and very informative about the area I stayed in, and took the time to show me about the neighbourhood upon my arrival.

Everything was as arranged, and I cannot recommend the apartment I stayed in and your company highly enough. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending your company, and the apartment I stayed in to friends and colleagues. An absolute gem!
