Studio Apartment in Sevres Babylone, Eiffel Tower - Champ de Mars - Les Invalides (PA-3635)
Studio, 1 Bathroom, 1 Half Bathroom - Sleeps 1

This furnished room is situated close to the historic district of Saint Germain des Pres with its elegant, trendy streets. Sévres Babylone is known for the many stylish fashion shops, art galleries, sophisticated and traditional restaurants, pubs and cinemas it contains. After World War II, St. Germain des Pres became synonymous with intellectual life centered around bars and cafes. This accommodation is within short walking distance of the Seine River, Ile de la Cité (with Notre Dame) and the delightful Ile Saint Louis. At a shorter distance are the Luxembourg Gardens. There are all sorts of essential shops and services in the neighborhood.

This studio is located on the sixth and last floor of a Haussmannien-style building with an elevator until the 5th floor. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded system and opens into a corridor leading to a courtyard from where a second door protected by a key opens into the main staircase. The apartment has a western exposure. The entrance door opens into the main room, which has a tommette tiled floor and a window with shutters that overlooks the courtyard. It is furnished with a single-size bed, a desk with a chair, shelves, a chest of drawers and a small wardrobe. The owner provides a very small refrigerator, a microwave and an electric kettle. It is strictly forbidden to cook inside the apartment.

The toilet is located outside the apartment on the same floor and has to be shared with the other tenants.

For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is Sèvres Babylone (lines 10 and 12).

Michel was a wonderful host! He was very supportive of all my questions and requests. And if you talk to him for a while, you will realize he has some amazing stories to tell. I highly recommend this apartment to people who are on a budget. The apartment is very small, but honestly it is so functional. I didn't feel claustrophobic or anything like that. All the appliances and furniture are exactly what you need for your day to day activities. Towels, dish detergent, soap, etc were all provided.
I would also note that it is in one of the best neighborhoods in Paris. Right outside your apartment are world class shops. And the 10, 12 is only one block away, while the 4 is two blocks away. I don't see how anyone would regret the decision to rent this apartment!

Very kind, helpful and gracious host. The studio is exactly as described, so no surprise. Maybe the mattress is a bit old and hard, with lumps, and it's difficult to regulate the hot/cold water in the shower. But all of this only if you want to find flaws.

For me, it was great.

Thank you for this review, Fiorella. I am delighted to hear you liked the apartment. The bedroom was repainted and is very bright. Electricity was upgraded.

After consulting my wife, a hot water and cold water mixer faucet was installed in the shower. The works are over and we are going to change the mattress in a few weeks time. It's important for us that renters keep on liking this bedroom.

The owner was quite friendly. I had no issues with them, Perfect. And about the apartment, just the furniture was a little bit old, but in general it was okay just a little bit old.

It was good generally yes, I liked it. Especially liked the location, it's like a very good area.

Thank you Astafyeva for leaving such a positive review. However, the furniture is not old since we bought it at Ikea last year. We would be delighted to welcome you back.

The furnished apartment was in a great area of Paris, a bit small but you cannot really complain with the price. The landlords are amazing - very sweet and caring.

The only criticism is that the apartment is in poor condition: most of the furniture is falling apart. Also, more importantly, I found a bunch of mold in the apartment, especially around the shower which can be quite dangerous.

We conveyed the comments from this review to the apartment owner who stated the furniture is not falling apart nor is there mold.

The owners of this Paris furnished apartment are extremely nice people, in total it was really a pleasant stay.
