This studio apartment is located in the 8th arrondissement of Paris where the Avenue des Champs Élysées comes towards the Seine River. The apartment is on the fifth floor of seven (sixth of eight in American floors) in a 1960s elevator building protected by a security system at the exterior door, near the intersection of Rue Jean Goujon and Avenue Franklin D. Roosevelt. Despite its modern layout, the apartment has touches of traditional French style: the floors are hardwood in the living room and there is an antique-style chandelier, as well as a vintage fold-out dressing screen to separate the bed from the rest of the space.
The apartment is fully equipped with all of the necessary amenities for a stay of any length. This includes:
This furnished studio has a lot to offer in terms of location as well: it is located less than a block away from the Palais de la Découverte and the Grand Palais, a large complex of Beaux-Arts museums and exhibition spaces including the Petit Palais across the street. The Palais is found at the bottom end of the Avenue des Champs Elysees, connecting the Louvre, Tuileries and Place de la Concorde with the dramatic Arc de Triomphe and the Etoile to the west. Also nearby are the gardens surrounding the Palais, which connect it to the Elysée Palace, official residence of the French President. The Seine River is lined with parks and is only 350m (five minutes) from the apartment. Across the river is the golden dome of the Invalides, a military museum where Napoleon Bonaparte is buried. The home is also near Gare Saint Lazare.
The rest of Paris is easily reached by metro, with the nearest stations being Champs-Élysées-Clemenceau (lines 1 and 13, 400 m/5 minutes walking) and Franklin D. Roosevelt (lines 1 and 9, 300 m/4 minutes on foot).
