This two bedroom furnished apartment is located on the second floor of a 4-story walk-up building on Rue Roger, between Rue Daguerre & Rue Froidevaux in the Montparnasse neighborhood of Paris’ 14th Arrondissement. This 19th century building has an intercom security system and a washing machine for your convenience.
West and east exposed, the apartment features white walls, wall-to-wall carpeting, high ceilings with exposed beams, and tall windows. The living room is furnished with a double sized sofa bed, a stylish armchair, a TV with cable access, and a stereo. There is a dining table for four in the room as well.
On the other side of the apartment is the all-white kitchen with red tile accents. Equipped with a four-burners gas stove, a traditional oven, a microwave, and a dishwasher, this kitchen also has all the kitchenware needed to prepare home-cooked meals. A large window in the room keeps it bright and sunny.
Near the Living Room, Bedroom 1 can be accessed through a corridor. Furnished with a double bed, dresser, armoire and small desk, this room has a large window that overlooks the street. At the opposite end of the two bedroom apartment is Bedroom 2. In here is a twin-sized futon bed, dresser, and a window with views of the courtyard.
Near bedroom 1 is Bathroom 1. Decorated with blue tiles, this room features a tub shower with handheld showerhead, sink with overhead mirror, and a bidet. Bathroom 2, located near Bedroom 2, is more of a water closet with sink and electric toilet. This is also where the apartment’s washing machine is located.
Please note that the floor in the living room and in the bedrooms is all fitted carpet.

Venture a little further south and find yourself in the Alésia neighborhood, another great section of Paris.

The variety of lines available with take you directly north, south, east or west around the city center. RER B is a convenient option to access Charles DeGaulle International Airport, Orly International Airport and Stade de France (Soccer Stadium). Also from Denfert-Rochereau is the OrlyBus, which runs between the city and Orly Airport.

We stayed at Rue Roger, 2nd floor in Paris from 26 December 2005-2 January 2006. It was very, very clean. The heat worked all night long, and we had hot water whenever we needed it. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was spotless, and the refrigerator worked just right. It was quiet at night, being near a cemetery and all; it was interesting to walk through and completely safe in the area around it. We were between 3 train stations, and near 3 Metro lines, 1 RER line , and the OrlyBus.
