This two bedroom furnished apartment sits in the heart of Paris within the 1st arrondissement on Le Louvre. It is near the popular communities of Les Halles and Châtelet. A variety of tourist attractions lie within walking distance of the home for rent.
Located on Rue de l'oratoire between rue de Rivoli and rue St Honoré, this luxurious home inside a stately 19th century elevator building features a balcony overlooking stunning Paris architecture. Furnished with antique accessories, it resides on the 2nd floor (considered 3rd in U.S.) of a six-story A.G. building. For privacy and easy guest entry, an intercom security system is in place. A personal laundry washer/dryer is included in the kitchen.
Entrance to the apartment leads to a corridor opening to both bedrooms and a living room. Bedroom 1 faces north (looking toward a courtyard) and includes access to a personal bathroom. Bedroom 2 faces south (looking toward a street) and is next to the living room.
The living room provides direct access to a balcony via large glass French doors. From the narrow balcony an unobstructed view of the Paris streets and architecture are presented – including view of the Louvre (located just in front of the building)! This area proves a relaxing and inspiring spot to rest after a long day. In the living room, dark wooden antique accessories scatter the space and a modern chandelier hangs from the ceiling. Two sofas accommodate guest seating. Other highlights include a decorative fireplace, large mirror, and round dining table for two or four.
A tiled kitchen attaches to the living room and offers most basic amenities for home-cooked meals. Ample cabinet space is provided. The washer/dryer is included here.
Bedroom 1 (the master bedroom) is spacious (approx. 31sqm/334sqft) and embraces an elegant atmosphere. It includes carpeted floors, two dangling chandeliers, and two floor-to-ceiling windows facing a well-kempt courtyard. Two single-sized beds and an extra folding bed are included. This luxurious space also features a decorative fireplace, wooden chairs, dark wooden cabinets, and a desk for comfortable completion of workloads. Two closets with shelf space accommodate item storage.
Bedroom 2 is furnished similarly to bedroom 1. It includes two single-sized beds and a large floor-to-ceiling window facing the street. One wooden desk is provided. Other highlights include track lighting, chairs for guest seating, and antique wooden cabinets.
Bathroom 1 supplies a shower/tub, toilet, and fresh towels. Bathroom 2 supplies a shower, toilet, and fresh towels. Bathroom 3 supplies a toilet.

We had a delightful stay in this apartment. It was very clean and comfortable, and very spacious, with two fairly newly renovated bathrooms and a great washer-dryer. |

Pluses: The apartment we had was perfectly located in the center of all the sites we wanted to see. Of course we didn't spend a lot of time in the apartment however, we couldn't have asked for a better location. |

Hi Julie, I am delighted to hear you enjoyed the apartment location. I'm going to try and make more storage space available for our guests. It's true you asked me for a hanger stand and that I didn't have the time to deal with it. I am sorry. |

Thank you Julie for your review. Further to your comments, we decided to visit this apartment again to make sure we advertise it accurately. We now have recent pictures that better reflect the style of the apartment and how the second bedroom is set up. |

We had a wonderful stay in Paris with this apartment in a perfect location for us. The location of this apartment is right across from The Lourve which makes it situated in a very busy area, thus some street noise. However, the noise level shouldn't be a factor if location is a priority. |

The owner of the apartment was charming and very helpful... she and her husband walked with us to her favorite shopping place and introduced us to store owners. |

I think this guest should have chosen an apartment with Ikea-style furniture, which is not this apartment style at all as can be seen on the website. What she calls 'hand me down' or 'poor' furniture is Louis 15th and Louis 13th furniture which is not fashionable in Australia. |

We stayed in 5 different accommodations during our stay in France. This one was the best of them. Claire was most gracious and helpful, and even helped drag our suitcases down the Rue Honoré. We hope to be able to be able to stay here again in the future. |

Several lights/lamps were not working - same with the WiFi, which we did need to check in for onward air travel and keeping up with life's demands. The master bedroom curtains had to be safety-pinned to close for privacy and light-tight conditions for sleeping. |

We loved the apartment's location, layout, and building. It was gorgeous, with incredibly high ceilings, historic decor, and huge windows from which you could see the Louvre across the street!! The lovely owner made us feel very welcome. We could walk to the Louvre and the Seine in 2 minutes. A supermarket one block away, Metro. everything. I can't imagine a better location. |

Our experience at [the Paris apartment] was impeccable. The apartment was lovely and all went very well. My only complaint (which does extend to a number of Paris apartments) is the fact that it was so difficult for postmen and couriers to deliver packages and post for me. |
