This furnished apartment is in the Village d'Auteuil, a traditional neighborhood in this very select district of Paris that provides choice fashion and convenience shops, fine restaurants and cafes. There are two open-air markets near the accommodation. It is just a short metro ride from the Eiffel Tower, built for the 1889 world exhibition by Gustave Eiffel. On one side it faces the splendid Champ de Mars and beautiful floral gardens, and on the other side, beyond the Seine River, the Trocadero Place with the Palais de Chaillot built for the International Exhibition in 1937; it houses several museums and offers an esplanade with an impressive view of the Eiffel Tower.
This 14m² (approx. 150 sq. ft.) studio apartment is located on the first floor (second in the USA) of a walk-up building constructed in 1970. A concierge and an intercom protect the main entrance gate. This apartment has a northern exposure and faces the street.
BE AWARE THAT BELOW THE APARTMENT THERE IS A GAS STATION.
The apartment entrance opens into a corridor leading to the bathroom on the left and to the open kitchen and then the main room straight ahead.
The 9m² (approx. 95 sq. ft.) main room has a large window with curtains and a mirrored wall. It is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, a folding table with two matching folding chairs, and a cable TV. There are also some built-in closets.
The open kitchen is equipped with two electric burners topped by a cooker hood, a microwave oven, a washing machine, a small refrigerator, a coffee maker, a toaster and an electric kettle.
The white tiled bathroom has a shower, a washbasin and a toilette.
Wireless internet access is available.
Heat and hot water are collective with the building.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is Mirabeau (line 10).
