You will be surrounded by diverse shops, restaurants, cafes, and numerous entertainment options. You’ll be 0.3mi/500m away from the Republique metro, where you have access to 5 subway lines! The apartment features Western exposure onto the street. It is located at the intersection of Quai de Jemmapes and rue Alibert on the 11th (10th for Americans) of 16 floors. The apartment building has an elevator. The building itself was built in the 1970’s and has a security and intercom system and is separated from the main street by a gate.
The living area and bedroom are in a strikingly luminous room thanks to a large sliding door that opens onto a balcony that overlooks the Canal St. Martin – offering wondrous views of Parisian rooftops and monuments, including the Eiffel Tower, Sacré Coeur, the Pompidou Center and the Pantheon. The main room is furnished with a double bed, a folding dining table and two armchairs. There is plenty of closet space thanks to two built in closets. The apartment also features a flat screen TV with cable, a dvd player as well as a stereo system. This space is given a unique feel thanks to the parquet flooring. The kitchen is separated from the living area by a wooden bar. It’s equipped with 2 hot plates, a microwave/grill, a dishwasher and other basic amenities. Being walking distance from the Canal Saint Martin means that you’re in one of the best locations the city has to offer! The area is famous for its nightlife that is tucked away from street view, hidden behind other buildings. Some famous restaurants in the area include La Marine (410ft/130m), and Hotel du Nord (0.2mi/400m). For days when the weather is good, you can head to Jardin de l’Hopital Saint-Louis (0.2mi/350m) or to Square André Tollet (0.4mi/600m) for a walk, or to catch some sun. Finally, for a night out, head to the Favela Chic, a trendy Brazilian cocktail bar! This studio is located in a strategic location for those who want to get to know the city better.
For public transportation, take the 11 line at the Goncourt subway station, or walk to République, where you will have access to the 3, 5, 8, 9, and 11.

We were overall very satisfied with our stay in this apartment. Even though the fact that it was a 'studio' classification, the layout, location and amenities provided all we required. The location was overlooking the scenic St Martin canal and the Eiffel Tower and Sacre Coeur Basilica could be viewed from the balcony.
