This is a very nice apartment (and very clean) in a great location. The owner was easy to reach whenever needed and was always very helpful. The only small drawback is the fact there is no dryer for the laundry within the apartment (there is a washer), but a few laundromats a located close by.

Thank you for your review. I am looking for a solution about laundry drying.
I am glad that you enjoyed your vacation and I hope that you will stay in Montparnasse area during your next visit to Paris.
Have a nice day

The apartment was just as pictured and extremely convenient. We did have trouble finding the towels. We had to extend our stay by one night because I was in the hospital, and the owner could not have been more accommodating. He also provided good directions. It was a very good experience.

Good evening Culley Jane,
Thank you for your review about your stay in my studio.
I hope that your ankle does not hurt anymore.
I will do what's necessary so that the different accessories are perfectly reachable.
Best regard.

The location was extremely convenient (major metro station just the gated alley-way). The apartment was very "charming" but also very cramped (which made us feel that it was an "authentic Parisian" apartment!)
There were left over food and beverage items from a previous tenant in the refrigerator and the place was not in "broom-clean" condition. Once we swept the cobwebs up and emptied out the refrigerator it was very cozy and relaxing to "come home to."
The linens on the bed were questionably cleaned, and there was extremely loud construction that would begin by 7am sharpe during the weekdays just outside the open window... While all of this seems very negative in nature, they are easily things that can be changed or are things that cannot be avoided (the construction).
All in all, it was a very cute and comfortable place to stay in a very convenient location. The owner, who speaks little English, even made a point to have an English speaking friend meet us at the apartment to show us around and give us the keys. The owner was also very accommodating when we had some money issues initially and he was extremely understanding and patient with us until we could get it all straightened out. We think for 6 nights, if you want a great location and plan on being out-and-about pretty much all day, this place is a GREAT way to go!

I have made a note of your comments Kalin.
As regards cleanliness, there was a glitch with the cleaning lady and as I was away I couldn't check things as needed.
As for the noise, the works in the building for the theater are now completed and it shouldn't be noisy anymore.
It is true the studio is small but I think it accommodates a traveling couple comfortably.

Thank you for your review.

We stayed 8 nights here and we had a great time in Paris. The
apartment itself is nice and clean and the owner is very nice.

When we arrived though it turned out that work was being done on the building facade which was very noisy. It didn't ruin our stay, it just gave us motivation to get out and see the city nice and early.
They were painting the building so I'm sure this is only temporary.

A major metro stop is right around the corner which is EXTREMELY
convenient but does make for the occasional low rumble in the apartment. Not a big deal though.
There are some decent cafes in the area and the Jardin du Luxembourg is a close walk away.

The big draw here is the convenience of the metro and the comfort of the apartment.

I would like to confirm that the works are due to be over in about a week. They are not particularly noisy.
Thanks for the comments.
