South France Accommodation - 2 Bedroom Rental in Nice, French Riviera (PR-797)

Perfectly situated in the center of Nice, the capital of the French Riviera, this spacious two bedroom, 1.5 bath apartment is located on the 2nd European (3rd American) floor, and is equipped with an elevator and intercom security system.  The south exposed lounge is furnished with two sofas, an armchair, coffee table, cupboard, and a round dining table which seats 4.

As you enter the vacation rental you’re greeted with a marble floored hall and large, ornate ceilings. You’ll find two French windows, one with a balustrade and the other opening up onto a small balcony, which overlooks the street below. The first of two bedrooms is furnished with a king bed, which can be converted into two twin beds, and a large built-in closet with mirror sliding doors.  The bedroom has a north exposure onto the inner courtyard and boasts a full length window with balustrade. The second bedroom is fitted with a double sofa bed, which can be used as two single beds, and a chest of drawers. Additionally, there are 2 fold-up beds with proper mattresses which can be used in the lounge to create 3 separate sleeping rooms if necessary. The large, traditional bathroom is fitted with a full size bath with shower facility, and a washbasin. In addition, there is a separate bathroom with a toilet and washbasin. The eat-in-kitchen in the accommodation comes equipped with an oven and hob, microwave-oven, refrigerator/freezer, toaster, electric kettle, and a coffee maker.

This apartment is located near all the shops and supermarkets including bakeries, grocery markets, cafés, and restaurants.  There may be quite a few parking meters in all the nearby streets, but a car will not be needed during your stay in this part of the French Riviera.  A short 150 meters (0.09 miles) away you’ll find “La Cité” de la Buffa, is a large coveted market, which usually isn’t mentioned in tourist guides. A small 400 meter (.20 miles) walk and you’ll reach Promenade des Anglais, a well-known beach and boardwalk. The famous Negresco Hotel is also just 550 meters (0.4 miles) away. Aside from Paris, Nice claims the highest number of museums in France, a couple of them being the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Nice (650 meters/0.4 miles) and the Massena Museum (500 meters/0.3 miles). Nice, which is nestled amidst hills and tucked into the unrivalled setting of the ‘’Baie des Anges”, is famous for its liveliness and its dynamism. Nice is also quite the melting pot, as the city has preserved numerous traces of its eventful past, and the diversity of its architecture shows how vast the worldwide influences were.

The Nice train station (approximately 2km/ 1mile) is served by the high-speed TGV (the “Train Grande Vitesse,” only five hours from Paris). The international airport, Nice-Côte d’Azur (6 km/4 mile drive) has been built on land reclaimed on the sea. The airport offers daily flights to and from New York. In addition, most international flight connections are made through Paris. Italy by car is only 20-30 minutes away. The South of France apartment truly is perfectly situated.
