- High Street Kensington: walk up Warwick Road for 800m (half-a-mile) until you reach this main shopping street in Kensington. On this stylish street you will find many restaurants, cafés and elegant boutiques to choose from. Enjoy a day of shopping at branches of the main chain stores that you also find in Oxford Street in center London, but without the crowds!
- Holland Park: after an afternoon of shopping, head one block north of High Street Kensington to this park, ideal escape from the city and still close to the center. This park offers beautiful woodland trails, lawns, gardens and houses the Kyoto Japanese Garden, a traditional Japanese garden where you will find quiet and peace like nowhere else in London!
- South Kensington : you will be impressed by the concentration of prestigious museums in this area neighboring Earls Court to the west. The Natural History Museum, Science Museum and Victoria and Albert Museum are all located within walking distance of each other, around Museum Lane (1.6 km or 1 mile away from your apartment). This very chic area is also famous for its designer shops around Brompton Cross and its distinct European flavor with many French restaurants.
- Earls Court Exhibition Center: Madonna, U2, Justin Timberlake and many more have performed at this center located right behind your building (200m / 0.1 mile). In addition to live concerts, the center also hosts big annual trade shows and other prestigious events such as The Brit Awards!
- Troubadour: try out this charming bohemian restaurant and live music venue located 600 m (0.4 miles) on Old Brompton Road. It was frequented by the likes of Elvis Costello, Bob Dylan and Jimi Hendrix!
