New York Apartment Studio in Union Square (NY-14880)

This furnished studio apartment is located in a 5-story low-rise building in the Union Square area of Manhattan, New York. It is a walk-up building with no elevator. The air-conditioned apartment is furnished with two single beds, allowing you to share the unit with a roommate of your choice. You can also enjoying watching cable TV or surf the Internet for study or entertainment. The unit has a small kitchen area equipped with a microwave, a toaster, a small fridge to keep your food fresh, and a coffee maker to enjoy your morning cup of coffee. There are also hot plates available in this studio; there is no stove. The private bathroom has a shower, a sink and a toilet so you can get ready in the morning before going to school or work.

The building is situated in the Gramercy - Union Square area of NYC on 14th Street and 3rd Avenue, one block from the 3rd Avenue L train and two avenues away from Union Square station where you can catch the 4, 5, 6, N, Q and R trains. This station is at the heart of Union Square park opened in 1839. There are year-round events and activities ranging from relaxing on a bench on a summer day, shopping at the holiday market in winter, to listening to music and watching the performance art. If you feel like cooking in, the Union Square Greenmarket is open several times a week, and you can get purchase fresh vegetables from regional farmers or bread from local artisans. You can also buy cut flowers and plants to brighten the interior of your NYC apartment. Another choice is to walk on 14th Street to go to either Whole Foods or Trader Joe's to buy the necessary ingredients. If you do not feel like cooking, there is also an incredible array of dining possibilities in the area, from Dunkin Donuts for breakfast to upscale dinner at the Union Square Café.
