  Nice apartment, very well located near Columbus Circle. Furniture was a little worn, and I do complain for the absence of black curtains: impossible to sleep in the summer later than 6 AM! Aug 22 2012

  Spacious, bright, and comfortable apt. with a great location. Lighting in the dining area is poor. We fixed this by moving a floor lamp. Lighting in the bathroom is great. The equipment is good, although incomplete. There are too many pots and pans for 2 people (with plastic handles), which are useless for cooking a pizza in the oven. We requested one for cooking pizzas (they cost less than $5), but did not receive any reply. The sink and the shower are missing bathroom accessories where you can place the soap and shampoo. There was no toothbrush holder either. We managed without these basic details, so the previous issues we commented on didn't really influence our overall rating, which is positive. The building, doormen, and elevators deserve 4 stars. We took off one star because the hallways are comparable to those of a 2-star hotel. SUGGESTIONS TO IMPROVE THE SERVICE: Since the owner doesn't hand over and pick up the keys (this is done with the front desk), there should be a detailed list of everything contained in the apartment, to check off that everything is there when one leaves. In our case, the set of knives, forks, and spoons was incomplete. There was a knife with a black handle missing from the wooden block and some missing utensils form a hanging wire (originally containing 30.) If the owner now claimed that it was our fault, we would have no way of proving it because of the missing inventory list, even though we left everything in the unit just as it was when we first arrived. Overall, we are very satisfied with the apartment, which is missing very few things in order to be perfect. We would definitely rent it again. Jul 15 2012

    Thank you for the review. As the owner of the company, I am always interested to hear what the tenant has to say about our accommodations. I will definitely replace the missing items, and will in no way blame the tenants. It is our policy to inspect each apartment prior to arrival to ensure all is ready and perfect. We even turn on the television so the occupant does not have to figure out what can sometimes be so confusing , especially if you are from out of town. I like the idea of placing an inventory list in the apartment and will definitely try to implement this suggestion. Jul 31 2012
