One bedroom in Cobble Hill.
|
With an area of approximately 450 square feet, the apartment has one bedroom and one bathroom and sleeps two people.
This bright apartment is furnished in a contemporary style, and lies on the third floor of a prewar walk-up building. It is a floorthrough apartment with the bedroom facing the backyard and the living room the street. Residents enter with their individual keys and visitors are admitted through an intercom/code system.
Abundant light floods the living room, illuminating the modern sofa and two-seater chair. The hardwood floors and pale wooden dining table with three chairs enhance the room's homey atmosphere. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed accompanied by a lamp. There is one window facing the back.
The open kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator and freezer, a four-ring gas cooker and a sink. Timber-fronted cupboards provide storage space for the kitchen utensils provided. The gray-tiled bathroom contains a bathtub with shower, a washbasin and a toilet.
This area lies in the West of Brooklyn, one of the five boroughs that together make up the city of New York. Perhaps the most evocative image of Brooklyn is the enormous stone and steel span of the nineteenth century Brooklyn Bridge, which dominates the skyline with its huge piers and miles of tensioned cable.
Subway stations linking Brooklyn with Manhattan lie only a short distance from the apartment. The famous Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges link the two boroughs by road, and taxis can be hailed anywhere at any time of the night or day.
