One bedroom with colorful kitchen on the Upper West Side

Location:
New York City, Upper West Side-West 82nd Street between Central Park West and Columbus Avenue. The IND subway station and buses for uptown, downtown, or cross town are just one block away.
Size:
475 sq. ft. Includes: Bedroom, Bathroom, Kitchen, and Living room. Sleeps one.
Building:
The building is a nine-story building and dates from the1920s. It is located on a quiet tree lined street. The building is well maintained and security is excellent with 24/7 closed circuit TV. Entry into the building is by key or, for visitors, through an intercom system. The apartment is located on the ninth floor.
Interior:
The living room includes a dining area. It has oak floors, large windows and white walls hung with paintings and photographs. There is a comfortable sofa, color television with Cable, a DVD, and an audio system.
The small bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and A/C. Bed linens are provided.
The kitchen comes equipped with a gas stove and large refrigerator/freezer as well as a microwave oven and all appliances (toaster, juicer, blender, espresso coffee maker, etc.). Cookware, utensils and dinnerware for six are included.
The bathroom has a bathtub with a shower plus a toilet and sink. Towels are provided.
There are windows in all the rooms, including the bathroom. Storage is more than adequate. There is air conditioning in both the living room and bedroom and a telephone for local calls. This apartment, which is completely self-contained, is part of a larger apartment.
Neighborhood:
This is in the heart of Manhattan's lively Upper West Side--one of the most prized residential areas in the city--which boasts a rich variety of restaurants, outdoor cafes, internationally famous food emporiums like Zabars and Citerella, numerous fine clothing stores and boutiques as well as two multiplex cinemas. It is within walking distance of many major New York cultural institutions, including, the American Museum of Natural History, The Hayden Planetarium, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Guggenheim Museum of Art, and the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.
Halfway up the street is Central Park which consists of several hundred acres of parklands, lakes, trees, and open meadows for sports, an outdoor theatre for attending plays in the summer and an outdoor rink for ice skating in the winter. Just one block away is the IND subway station. Various bus lines will get you anywhere in the city very quickly.
