One bedroom in Brooklyn.
|
Location: Fort Greene in Brooklyn on Washington Park between Willoughby Avenue and DeKalb Avenue.
This 450 square feet one bedroom duplex apartment is located on the fifth floor of a Brownstone building equipped.
This apartment has been totally renovated in July 2005. The new open kitchen is equipped with a microwave, a stove, a refrigerator, a toaster and a stereo to listen to your favorite music while cooking.
The living-room is lightly furnished with a black leather sofa-bed, a TV stand. There is no table however. A brand-new working fire place has been added to the apartment. There is also a small closet.
The two windows facing the back of the building give a lot of brightness in the living room. Adjustable lights in the ceiling give it a cozy atmosphere when needed.
A black spiral staircase leads to the bedroom upstairs. Thanks to the large bay window this room is very bright too and you can even access a small terrace overlooking the back of the building. At night you can even see the Empire State Building. The bedroom is lightly furnished with a double size bed only.
The bathroom is superb. There is a bathtub and shower, a big mirror and even a speaker in the ceiling to listen to your favorite radio station.
This quiet area lies in the Northwest of Brooklyn, one of the five boroughs that together make up the city of New York. Perhaps the most evocative image of Brooklyn is the enormous stone and steel span of the nineteenth century Brooklyn Bridge, which dominates the skyline with its huge piers and miles of tensioned cable. The closest train station is DeKalb (B,R,Q,M) at an approximately 7 minutes walk. The B38 bus at the corner of DeKalb and Washington Park can also bring you to the train station in a few minutes. The famous Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges link the two boroughs by road. Junior's Famous Restaurant is close by as well as the Atlantic Shopping Mall where you can find a 24 hours open Pathmark, Target and many other stores.
