NEIGHBORHOOD: Williamsburg has a reputation for being an artist community with it's many musicians, DJs, film makers, actors, designers, dancers, models and painters. Bedford Avenue is bursting with hip shops featuring chic, original clothing designs, rare records, vintage clothing and accessories among other treats. There are nice ethnic and natural food restaurants that will absolutely delight you! There are a half dozen galleries and hundreds of studios in the neighborhood. Ocularis continues to introduce the neighborhood to local filmmakers in an open air venue that has been voted the best of its kind by New York Magazine. Evenings in Williamsburg are anything but boring!
