New York Apartment - 1 Bedroom Rental in Midtown East (NY-6934)

Great apartment: big, good views, comfortable, in a quiet and nice neighbourhood. It is perfect for medium to long stays. The managers of the building were very kind. The lady in charge of the cleaning was efficient and cooperative. The lady owner is ready to help in anything you need.

The owner was very helpful during our stay. We loved the size of the apartment, but would have appreciated a higher level of cleaning.

Would definitely recommend this apartment and host to people staying. Supberb location in a safe, quite but but well-connected and furnished neighbourhood. Great building, well-maintained and secure. Beautiful views over the river one block away and the heart of Midtown a 15 minute walk the other way. Apartment was roomy, light, well-maintained and equipped with really incredible views over Midtown, being on the 28th floor. Fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, linens and towels supplied. There is also a number supplied for the host's regular cleaner, who can sort out cleaning and laundry for you. Host was very lovely, easy to contact and personable. It is pricey but for the location and amenities, if you're staying in New York good while and can afford it, it's a wonderful experience.

This apartment is well represented in the photos and written description. It is roomy, comfortable and everything was in working order. The view is great any time of day and it is well situated for getting around Manhattan. The neighborhood is safe with several small parks close by. The building entrance, lobby, elevators and laundry facilities are well maintained and the doormen are very pleasant and helpful. The owner was kindly and promptly replied to all emails. We would come back here with no hesitation.

As far as the noise level in the apartment, there was some city noise when the windows were open (to be expected) but the building was generally fairly quiet.

We were also pleased with the service we received from New York Habitat.

I was very happy especially in New York & my stay was very comfortable in this lovely apartment and all the amenities available.The view was amazing, tranquility, safety, friendly doormen.

Beautiful location near the city center, Central Park and grand central train station. My stay was amazing & I hope to return again .

The view from the apartment is gorgeous. The apartment is very spacious and airy. The kitchen has everything you need and more. The apartment is done up in a personal style and hence very homey.

The caretakers are very friendly and obliging. Unfortunately it is noisy with the windows open because of the air conditioners on the rooftops beneath the house. But we can also shut the windows and put the A/C on, then it's definitely much quieter.

We felt very comfortable.

The apartment was terrific, in a wonderful location, and the owner was very pleasant to deal with. The doormen in the building were great and very helpful. One set of keys was left with the doorman, with no instructions about any others, so we used only one set of keys. I often had to leave the keys with the doorman for my fiancee to pick up (or vice versa) which was a bit of a pest. On the final day in the apartment, we found a spare set of keys in a drawer. We hadn't been told they were there, or, indeed, that a spare set of keys even existed.

There was building renovation work going on in the apartment above us which was VERY noisy. We were on vacation, so were wanting to spend some days in the apartment, but the noise was a problem.

We went out a few times when we had planned to spend days in the apartment because the noise was annoying. It would have been good to have known about the building work in advance.

I had the most fabulous experience. The apartment was better than I could have imagined, and the owner was easily contactable and welcoming. My time in NY could not have been better.

What a pleasant place to stay in Manhattan. Good location for bus service, quiet and safe streets, very friendly and efficient doormen.

Apartment is roomy and well-laid-out with fabulous views west across the city and afternoon sun streaming in through plentiful windows. Very usable kitchen. Clean well-managed building. I'll be going back to stay again.
