This apartment is located in a prewar building in the heart of Union Square. It is located on the ninth floor, accessible by elevator. The building is equipped with a buzzer/intercom system.
The entry opens into a corridor. On the left are the kitchen and then the bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, a stove, a microwave, a sink, and a newly installed dishwasher. There are plenty of cabinets filled with pots, pans, utensils and plates.
The bathroom is done in white tile. It has a shower/tub, toilet, a pedestal sink and a wooden vanity. Towels are provided. The washer/dryer is also in the bathroom.
The bedroom is approximately 250 square feet. There is a queen-sized bed, a dresser and plenty of closet space. Sheets are provided. The two large windows facing east bring in plenty of sunlight and a great view of Union Square.
The living room is the best feature of the apartment. There are nine windows facing east, north and west. The New York skyline views from the apartment are phenomenal and enhanced by the spaciousness of 12-foot ceilings. The furniture in the living room is an eclectic style. There are two sofas and two love seats and a television with cable. In the southwest corner of the room is a small office area. In the northwest corner is a small dining table that seats four.
This is a non-smoking apartment. The apartment is rented in "AS IS" condition.
The apartment is close to the West Village, the East Village, and Gramercy. It is lively both day and night and surrounded by restaurants and shops. There are also many produce stores with stalls of fresh fruit and vegetables that attract local residents.
Transportation is convenient with subway lines N, W, R, 4, 5, 6, L, Q at Union Square.
