Nice room on West 57th Street
|
A nice furnished and bright room, very clean, is available in this converted 2 bedroom apartment, located in a well-maintained postwar building, with elevator and laundry facilities on premises, on 57th street between 9th and 10th Avenue. The building is next to a nice red church, and a short walk from Columbus Circle (A-C, B-D and 1-9 lines). 57th street is a wide street with nice well maintained postwar building, some with doormen, fine grocery stores (like D'Agostino, off the corner of 9th Avenue) and clubs. It is a jazz area (for night-lifers) and so close to the Park (for morning joggers).
The room is a good size, with 2 closets. It is furnished with a queen size bed, two dressers, a little table with chair, an armchair, a new large TV with cable box (Times Warner, HBO, etc). It is also equipped with a phone (the line is private, you just have to call the company), a window with south exposure and an air conditioning unit.
The apartment has a small dining area, with a table and chairs, next to a bright window and an open kitchen equipped with gas stove, microwave and toaster-oven. A fridge, cabinets, it is very neat. The bathroom has bathtub/shower, sink, a shelf, toilet. The apartment is well distributed : when you come in, you have a hallway, with the bathroom in the middle, the kitchen/dining room in one end (and off the area, separated with multiple screenings, the space of the tenant), and in the other end the fully private bedroom.
