Building : tenement walk up , 4 floors, above businesses. Apartment situated in rear of building and very quiet . security is very good, 2 locked outer doors and intercom buzzer system. Good central heating and hot water. Mostly long term tenants, 16 apartments total.
Interior : Well furnished, decorated, clean, partial kitchen and bathroom renovation, thick walls. Entry into a small common area with dining table. Living room is well furnished and closed off to common area by french doors. Bedroom is semi furnished, spacious closet, a large dresser,a/c, cable tv, dvd. There is a futon frame without a mattress. Access to bath is in common area. All linen are provided. Security gates on windows, direct access to fire escape. Large kitchen includes microwave oven, stove, all cooking equipment and dinnerware. The owner lives in.
Neighborhood : excellent selection of restaurants , entertainment , shopping , stores and services all within 2 - 3 blocks radius, several open 24 hours. Subway on 3rd avenue 10 min walk . Bus stop 50 feet away.. Very safe and secure at all hours. Central park is 10-15 minutes walk.
