This apartment to share is located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York City. It is a 2-bedroom apartment. The bedrooms are divided by the living room and located on opposite ends of the apartment. This provides an extra sense of privacy. The bedroom for rent also has its own private bath. The apartment is located on the 4th floor of a high-rise building. It is equipped with an elevator and two doormen for security in the lobby.
The apartment to share includes a fully furnished bedroom. It comes complete with modern furniture such as a queen sized bed, armoire, leather desk chair, and club chair. There is also a 32-inch flat screen television with cable and DVD player. Two large closets with shelves and a small stereo system are also provided. There is a phone jack in the bedroom if you would like to pay for your own private line. The common areas include the kitchen, dining room, and living room. The furniture in the living room is modern as well, including a microfiber sofa, loveseat, chair and ottoman set. There is also a televison with a DVD player. Wireless Internet is provided along with a/c in each room. There is also rooftop access that is furnished with chairs during the summer months.

The building is located in a largely residential neighborhood on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Nearby there are two major grocery stores, Bed Bath & Beyond, pharmacies and restaurants. A movie thatre is located around the corner on 1st Avenue. In addition, there is also a farmer's market each Saturday just 4 blocks away on 67th Street providing local produce and fresh goods. The apartment located on York Avenue is also just across the street from Rockefeller University. Plus, it is conveniently located near the entrance of the East River promenade that serves as an ideal place for walking or jogging. Several health clubs are in the area, and LA Sports Connection is just 3 blocks away.
The F train is located 4 blocks away, and you can reach the 4/5/6/N/R/W trains at 60th Street and 3rd Avenue. Additionally, the #31 bus stops outside the building and takes you to the West Side of Manhattan on 57th Street (a cross-town bus also is available on 67th Street).
