New York Room For Rent - 2 Bedroom apartment for a roommate in Flatbush, Brooklyn (NY-10953)

Everything went well during my stay in this apartment. My roommate was very nice, funny and helpful, and we became friends. The bedroom is big and spacious. The apartment and the building are in good condition. The area is pleasant, with a lot of shops, bars and restaurants. Subway is nearby.

I really enjoyed my 4 months stay at this appartement in Flatbush, Brookly. Subway is nearby to get to Manhattan fast. Prospect Park is also not far away where I enjoyed jogging.
The roommate is very polite and easy going, I enjoyed interessting talks and we became friends during my stay. I can definitly recommend this appartement and the roommate!

I had a very nice stay there and my roommate, also the owner, was very helpful and polite. The room is spacious, neat and includes everything you need.

This apartment provides excellent value for money. It isn't luxurious but it also isn't expensive. If you love Flatbush (like I do) the location is very good. The area is extremely cosmopolitan and very safe. The room is large and private. The apartment is sloppy but the room is what you make of it. All I needed to use was the room, kitchen and bathroom so I didn't care about the appearance of the apartment. The flat mate is easygoing and a pleasure to live with.

I spent 3 months in this apartment with Irène (the woman who rents the apartment) IT WAS GREAT :)

Everything was alright with the place, and with Irene. My 3 months was just Amazing.
The room is big and cute as you can see on the pictures, the building is clean and calm (with doorman and Landry). A lot of shops around and the Trains station in close to the place.

So, I'am so glad to met her (Irene) because she is a very cool, nice and funny person, and the next person will Not be disapointed about this place for sure, because it's a great and safe area to stay. Believe me

I had a great stay in this apartment for 10 months. I have lived with two lovely women as my roommates and we have great times. It's such a pity that I have to leave. I don't really want to because the place is very nice and clean; the area is quiet, the subway is nearby and there are many shops and restaurants around where I can satisfy my appetite.

About the apartment, it's nicely decorated, my room is very comfortable. I have a queen size bed, bed sheets with comforter and a flat screen TV with a DVD player. Everything is already in place and was very accommodating.

Other rooms such as living room, kitchen and bathroom are really clean. I invited my family and friends over with no problem, and they also enjoyed the place.

All I can say is that the next person, who will stay in this apartment, will be very lucky. Thank you NY Habitat to find me a great place in New York City.

When I rented the apartment it was the only the second time I had ever been in NYC in my life, and first time in Brooklyn. I work in Midtown so the fact the location was right off the train line helped this mid west girl get accustomed to NYC living.

The building was amazing, door man, laundry in building and even a pool, it felt like I was in a hotel! The room was quiet and private and very comfortable, the owner was very kind, loving and helpful and became a good friend.

I had everything I needed in the neighborhood so I never had to venture far for groceries, restaurants and shopping, but it also never felt like the crazy busy city but almost like a nice quiet suburb. If you want to move to NYC and never been, this is a great place to ease into living in such a large city.
