Convertable 2 bedroom in The Upper East Side

The listing is in the Upper east side. The apartment is on the third floor of a postwar building with a buzzer/intercom system. The walls are white and the floors are hardwood throughout the living spaces.
The entrance to the apartment is across from the bathroom. The bathroom has a tub, a window and shelves. There is no sink in the bathroom (renter must use the one in the kitchen).
Adjacent to the bathroom is the living room, it has french doors to the connected room, and receives light from that room and the kitchen. The room has a comfortable couch, t.v. stand, a TV, A/C, a floor lamp, a coffee table, shelving, a window and a dining table with chairs.
Connected to the living room by French doors is another room, which could either serve as a bedroom or as a dining room/extension of the living room. There are two windows, some shelving and a closet. Currently the room has a mattress on top of a double sized futon. There is a small architect-style desk with chair and an armoire.
Kitchen:
The kitchen has both Southern and Northern exposure. It has appliances that include a coffee machine, a toaster, a brand new fridge and a stove. There is also lots of shelving, a dining table, a t.v. and lots of cabinets. In addition, the owner provides pots, pans, plates, utensils and glasses.
The second bedroom is on the opposite side of the kitchen, and it has a window with Northern exposure and a full size bed. It has shelving, decorative lighting and a large closet.
Views:
South view is of the building with trees and greenery. North side is of 78th St between 2nd & 1st Ave.
Laundry:
There is a Laundromat in the building next door. You can either do the laundry yourself or drop it off.
Neighborhood: The Upper East Side is a trendy residential neighborhood, located in a shopping area, with access to the 86th street shoping center and schools (Hunter College, Ny School of Interior Design).
Transportation: The closest subway station is on 77th Street and Lexington Avenue, where you can take the 6 train. The 86th street station is only a cross town bus (#86) and the 1st and 2nd avenue bus lines (#15) away.

Gristede's: 3rd between 77th & 78th St.
Agata & Valentina: 79th & 1st.
Eli's: 80th St & 3rd Ave.
Restaurants / Cafes:
There is a great nightlife in the neighborhood, lots of restaurants, cafes and local bars.
