Spacious bedroom to rent in Rego Park, Queens
|
This apartment is located in Rego Park, Queens close to the Queens Boulevard Subway and the shopping along Queen Boulevard and Austin Street.
The apartment is located on the 6th floor allowing in plenty of light. The building is a prewar construction with an elevator and a laundry room. Access is via a buzzer intercom or key.
The room for rent is a converted living room, which has been separated by a heavy double curtain. The room is fully furnished, a queen sized bed, a dresser and lots of plants. The room has a closet just outside of the room. There are nice wood floors and three windows in the room. There is a window air conditioner. There is a TV, DVD and stereo in the room.
The living area is located in the foyer and has a dining table for four and several bookcases.
The kitchen is just off of this area and includes a stove, refrigerator and sink. There are plenty of pots, pans, dishes and utensils available. There is a microwave, coffee maker and toaster. The roommate's room is located behind the kitchen and is separated by a curtain.
The bathroom is spacious and includes a full sized tub/shower, w/c and sink with vanity.
The commute to Manhattan is about 20 minutes via subway and 15 minutes to the Penn Station via Long Island Railroad, which is about a 10 to 15 minute, walk away in downtown Forrest Hills.
