Room to rent in the Upper East Side with a large garden
|
The apartment is located in the Upper East Side on the ground and first floors of a pre-war walk-up building.
The area to rent is a partition off of the living room, which has been separated by a folding screen but has no door. The area is equipped with a single bed, a desk with drawers and a hanging rack for clothing. Internet access is available.
The room has two windows, which let in plenty of light from the northern exposure, but because they are original windows in a pre-war building, there can be a slight draft from them in the winter.
The living room is connected to the room and is fully furnished with a sofa, TV with cable and dining table. The living room features a decorative fireplace and bookshelves lining the walls. The living room has a door at the back, which leads to the large semi-private garden (partially shared with the neighbor). The garden includes a dining table and lots of foliage.
The apartment has two bathrooms. There is a private bathroom available for the roommate that includes shower, w/c and sink with vanity. The fixtures are dated, the tiles are faded and show some wear and tear.
The upper floor of the apartment is air-conditioned.
The person roommate's bedroom and bathroom are downstairs.
The building has laundry facilities downstairs.
There are two cats in the apartment so cat friendly is a requirement.
The apartment is on 77th Street close to the East River. The 6 train stops at 77th Street and Lexington Avenue. There are plenty of restaurants in the neighborhood on Second and Third Avenue's.
