This fully furnished room for rent is in a one bedroom apartment in the Midtown West area of Manhattan, New York. This apartment is in an elevator building and a doorman. Additionally there is the convenience of on-site laundry facilities shared amongst the tenants.
The private bedroom is furnished with contemporary furniture with an antique flair, including a double bed, a desk, a dresser and a table with chairs. There is an air conditioning unit and a ceiling fan. A closet is just outside the room for additional storage space. For entertainment, high speed internet access and a television equipped with cable are both available. Linens and towels are included.
Four windows with northern exposure overlook the neighborhood.
While the kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary items to cook, please note that the owner of this apartment only allows light cooking, and no late-night cooking (not after 8pm).
The shared full bathroom has a shower/tub, sink and w/c.
This room for rent is conveniently located in Midtown West in New York City. Columbus Circle and Central Park are just over 3 blocks away, and Lincoln Center is 5 blocks north. Around the corner on 9th Avenue, you fill find many cafes, restaurants and bars, and there is a Whole Foods supermarket on Columbus Circle.
Public transportation is very convenient with many lines, both local and express, within walking distance. The N/Q/R lines are less than 2 blocks away, and the 1/2 subway station is found at Columbus Circle. The A/C/E line is also not far.
Please also note that a dog and three cats live in this apartment, but they are not allowed into the bedroom for rent.

I am very pleased with my stay in this apartment and would highly recommend it. The owner is the nicest person ever and made me feel like home. The apartment is clean and very well located, close to all the commodities (metro stations, food shops...) and to Central Park and Times Square, in a real nice area. |

The apartment is in a really good location, the neighborhood is pleasant and safe! The building is luxurious! The apartment share was good but is still expensive for a room and the roommate sleeps in the sitting room. |

Johanne is an absolutely delightful 19 year old from Brittany. Beatrice (as always) did a great job. For some reason, the young students/interns from FRANCE are such great fits for me. Their parents did a great job in bringing them up the right way. |

Not ideal for home cookers or people with cat allergies. Beautiful room, spacious and light. Lots of near by places to get something to eat. Have to walk through owners bedroom to get to your own. |
