This one bedroom is located in a two bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor of an apartment building near the water on Roosevelt Island.
The room is furnished with a queen size bed, a spacious closet, a dresser and a television set with cable channels. Linens are provided.
Right outside the room there is a bathroom which is equipped with a bath tub with shower, w/c and a sink. The bathroom is shared with the owner of the apartment. Towels are provided.
The living room is furnished with a sofa, coffee table and television set with cable channels.
The kitchen is open and equipped with all necessary items to cook. In the kitchen there is a dining table with chairs, right by the windows.
The building has a laundry room for your convenience.
Roosevelt Island is full of parks, lots of green fields, playgrounds, bicycle and jogging paths and it has beautiful views of Manhattan. Right near this apartment there is a swimming pool which can be used at a small charge. There are shops, grocery stores, public library, coffee shops and restaurants in the vicinity. This area has the atmosphere of a small town and it's only one subway stop away from Midtown Manhattan. The F train is nearby.

I stayed in this apartment for four months. The owner and her son are really nice people, the rooms are clean and the price is reasonable (for Manhattan standards). The F train is approximately a 5 minutes' walk away and takes you to the city within 10 minutes. Roosevelt Island is a rather quiet place with a beautiful view on Manhattan's east side and good for running. |

I was well in the [shared] apartment. The owner was friendly and always ready to help. The house very clean and comfortable with all the necessary items. The place is also quiet, clean and well connected using the subway. I really enjoyed my stay there. |
