Discover a new part of Brooklyn with this renovated condo share in Flatbush! This two bedroom apartment share is in a building with many amenities; not only does it have an elevator and a video intercom system, it also offers a shared outdoor lounge area where you can enjoy the sunshine and mingle with the other residents of the building. Laundry facilities, a small fitness center is available in the building, and a parking space can be rented for a additional fee. Furthermore, since the building is situated near the intersection of Clarendon Road and East 29th Street, the subway is just 2 blocks away (about 300m)!
You will find the apartment on the 2nd floor of the building (known as the 1st floor by Europeans). Inside, you will be greeted with the pleasant shared living room, elegantly decorated in earth-tones and complete with both a sitting and dining area. The kitchen is separate and features stainless steel appliances (including a dishwasher and microwave!) and a small bistro-style table. The two bedrooms are situated with the kitchen in between, maximizing privacy between the roommates. The shared bathroom is made bright with white tiling and neutral accents to complement the cabinetry.
The corner bedroom for rent benefits from two windows, giving both Eastern and Southern exposure and overlooking the residential street of the neighborhood. Wood floors line the room, furnished with a queen size bed, desk and dresser. There is also a closet for storage and a flat screen TV for entertainment. Air conditioning is available in the summer.
Please note that there is a cat in the apartment, cared for by the roommate.
Flatbush is situated south of the enormous Prospect Park, a Brooklyn landmark that includes a zoo, athletic fields and even a lake. The Brooklyn Museum (NYC's second largest art collection) and the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens are also found on the perimeter of the park. Here are some other places of note in the nearby Flatbush area:
