Enjoy the Upper West Side while staying on 74th Street and Broadway! These rooms for rent are located in a 7- story residence (equivalent to the European's 6-story) for women only with elevator and laundry facility.
This 19 century building offers 5 different types of rooms from small, medium and large rooms with a chapel on the 2nd floor and a shared dining room, living room and kitchen. The separate shared kitchen is equipped with an oven, toaster, microwave, fridge and freezer. A sofa, multiple sofa chairs, two large dining tables and a mounted flat screen television are found in the shared living area. The five rooms for rent are all furnished with a twin sized bed, a desk and storage space. One small room and one large room for rent offer the convenience of a private full bathroom.
Please note that sheets and towels are not included with any of the rooms for rent.
Found between two parks on a tree lined street, yet close to the excitement that NYC has to offer, this is a great place to stay! Listed below are suggested places to go to during your stay in the Upper West Side:
- When looking to go the supermarket, Fairway Market (400ft/121.92m) and Citarella (0.1mi/160.93m) are both in walking distance from the building!
- The famous Central Park (0.7mi/1126.84m) is one of the best places to relax and enjoy nature! This is the place to go to for a picnic, a walk or a bike ride! Riverside Park (0.3mi/482.8m) is also a beautiful park right on the Hudson River!
- The Lincoln Center (0.6mi/965.6m) is a well-known art and culture center and is the place to go to catch a great play, opera, ballet and much more!

When I moved into my beautiful bright room, the building was managed by two wonderful women. They really made the place feel like home, and looked after us girls. They would plan dinners in the dining room for holiday meals (most girls are international students, so they don't have family in NYC). It was lovely. |

The heat is very hot in the winter time even though I have the radiator turned off. I have to use a fan in the winter time. Although, I'm sure I could have had the maintenance person turn it off or have it fixed. With three bathrooms and three showers on each floor I've never once had to wait for either one to use. Some of the girls to heavy heavy cooking in the kitchen and it smells up the whole lobby and carries all the way up to the top floors. I wish somehow that could be avoided. Other than that excellent place to live!! I'd recommend to anyone! |

I'm very happy with my room (8-3) at St Agnes. The only thing I wish we could have is a microwave in are room. Other than that very clean, quite and comfortable. |
