I had a great time, spending 6 months in this apartment. Both roommates were super nice and always wanted to make sure, that everything is alright for me. The room was nice and included everything you need. The neighborhood is great and it feels really safe to live there (I haven't had ever any trouble, even if I came home late).

The next subway station is literally around the corner and regardless the fact, that the apartment is far uptown (200th street), one only needs about 30 minutes to get downtown. The A-express is just 2 minutes away. Also great connection to both, the Columbia main campus on 116th street (1-train) and the Columbia medical campus on 168th street (A-train).

I highly recommend this apartment. Great roommates, nice room, super close to the subway, great neighborhood (the Fort Tryon Park is just across the street) and totally affordable! I had an awesome time in this amazing city!

It is a nice, clean and cozy apartment where I felt very comfortable for 6 months. The landlord was very friendly and always tried to make sure that I enjoyed my room. She explains rules in a respectful way to make the property pleasant for everyone: each one has his space which is important.

Last and not least, the apartment is closed to the subway, the express train leads to Times Square in 25-30 min which was perfect.

The refrigerator space assigned to me was half of a shelf. This was very inconvenient especially when the owner had two full-size refrigerator in the apartment.

She had the radio on all the times (except at night when she went to bed) and asked that we leave it on even when she wasn't home. This made it less enjoyable to stay home.

Thanks for your review, Sepideh. Had you told me that you needed more refrigerator space, I would have moved my things. Regarding the radio, I thought I had toned it down enough when you told me it bothered you. I prefer to keep it on for safety reasons.

I have been renting my apartment for 10 years now and my main concern is always that my guests who mostly come from all over the world are happy and comfortable!

My time here was great. The apartment owner was very friendly/ personable and she did everything to make sure that her borders were comfortable and well taken care of.

The bedroom that I was in was very large/ spacious, clean, nicely decorated and the fact that WIFI for internet access was provided was an added plus as well.
