Beautiful two bedroom /two bathroom duplex apartment close to the United Nations
|
This large two bedroom / two bathroom duplex apartment to share is located on 44th Street between First and Second Avenue on the 16th floor of a nice prewar building with a full time doorman and laundry facilities. The entire apartment has crème wall to wall carpeting. This place is very cozy, you feel like you are in a chalet because of the large fireplace, the antique pieces of furniture and the beams throughout the living room.
When you enter the apartment you can see the stairs leading to the living room and the kitchen, and a small hallway leading to the bedrooms. The air-conditioned living room is a large space with white walls, high ceilings and a large window facing North. It is a very comfortable area, this room depicts the extraordinary taste of the tenant. You cannot miss the large fireplace, which gives a lot of character to this room furnished with antiques. In this room you will also find a sofa, a coffee table, a bench, a large antique wood desk with a big lamp at the top, a dresser, bookshelves, a TV with cable and VCR, a stereo, a lot of framed pictures, plants, and candles. The separate kitchen to share is equipped with a sink, a stove, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a fridge, a juicer, a halogen lamp, a counter, and many white storage cabinets.
The large bedroom to rent has clear lines. It measures approximately 204 square feet. It has white walls, crème wall to wall carpeting, a window facing North, and is furnished with an iron framed full size bed, a round table with a glass top, two chairs, a large lamp, and a TV with cable. The roommate can use two walks in closet: one into the bedroom and another one outside.The black and pink tiled private bathroom is situated next door to the bedroom to rent. It has a sink, a medicine cabinet, a shower with a bathtub and sliding door, and a toilet.
This building is very close to the United Nations area, a highly sought after residential neighborhood. Shops and restaurants of all kind can be found on Second Avenue and a supermarket and gourmet grocer is on 45th Street. The very exclusive Sutton Place neighborhood is just up the street and Grand Central Terminal and the Chrysler building is within a ten-minute walk.
