Share in the heart of Columbia University area

Location: New York City: Morningside Heights, in front of Manhattan School of Music.
Size: One bedroom available in a two bedroom apartment with full bath, spacious living room and veranda.
Building: Apartment is located on the 8th floor of a 21story building. There is a coined operated washer/Dryer available within the building. There are two full size elevators. Main door is kept locked. Access into building is with your key only.
Interior: Bedroom is 125 square feet of space and well lighted. It is fully furnished with a full size bed, a desk with chair, plenty of closet space and shelves. All linen is supplied. There is a large window facing West, with a view of the street, Riverside Cathedral and Manhattan School of Music. It is bright and urban.
The living room is carpeted like the rest of the apartment, open on all sides with a big window on the west side and covered terrace (veranda) with large bay windows on the south side. There is a sofa, some armchairs, a coffee table, stereo, air conditioner. The open/separate kitchen is spacious too, with white cabinets, a gas stove, a dining table for 2/3. It is very clean.
Neighborhood: Morningside Heights is known throughout as the Columbia University neighborhood for its full city block and view of a garden full of many various named trees, rolling green grass and plants. The building sits in the center of the Columbia University's academic neighborhood. Such neighboring buildings and landmarks include the famous Manhattan School of Music, Riverside Cathedral, Union Theological Seminary, Teachers College, Barnard College and Grant's Tomb. This little neighborhood has its own chain of shopping stores within the complex that offers various items and groceries. It also sits adjacent to a natural coffee house. There are several restaurants within the neighborhood. A dry cleaners and pharmacy are also available. Other stores and restaurants are located within walking distance.
Public Transportation: We are within walking distance to the subway lines No.1 and 9 Train that travel throughout the city. The M4 and M104 city buses are also available every five minutes directly across the street from the building. Taxis are available at anytime.
Emergency: Saint Luke's Hospital is located five blocks away.
